The noodles were perfect and the vegetarian broth was hearty and delicious, especially with a squeeze of chili sauce mixed in.

Service started with an amuse-bouche of matcha almond pie sticks, an apricot butter roll and some olives. The small bites were a great way to get me excited for what was to come.

Would I make an effort to fly new F cabin? Yes, but is it that much better to get upset over if you don't get it, pelo. The food and impeccable service is what makes flying F on ANA such a treat and its the same regardless of which cabin you get.

Traveling in pairs? You'll want to gravitate toward the center of the plane, where ANA's business class suites are pelo less massive or private. Just as with the solo seats along the aisle, these center-section pairs alternate row by row, with even-numbered suites facing forward and odd-numbered rows facing backward.

I was able to watch a full movie in the time the meal service took. Given the length of the flight, it didn't exactly cut into my sleep time, though it could be a nuisance to those looking to fall asleep not long after take-off. Overall, throughout the course of the flight, service was friendly but reserved.

Let's start with the positives: Bedding. There are two excellent pillows, a great duvet, and underneath it all, a very substantial mattress pad. Make that mattress pad a bit wider to cover up more of the sleeping surface and the bedding in ANA would be an absolute home run.

If you need to freshen up, shower suites are available for 15 minutes at a time – just approach the staff and let them know you’d like to book in to use one of the suites.

This space is simply in another league than almost any other lounge you'll find in the states, business class or not. It's spacious and well-designed with plenty of comfortable seating, a full wing of restrooms, dedicated shower suites and nap pods, and more.
